Then she meets alluring, rebellious Marcus Finch–a former Alchemist who escaped against all odds, and is now on the run. Marcus wants to teach Sydney the secrets he claims the Alchemists are hiding from her. But as he pushes her to rebel against the people who raised her, Sydney finds that breaking free is harder than she thought. There is an old and mysterious magic rooted deeply within her. And as she searches for an evil magic user targeting powerful young witches, she realizes that her only hope is to embrace her magical blood–or else she might be next.

I LOVED The Golden Lily. I LOVE Adrian and it’s physically painful to wait for this book. I am dying here!! And the publishers are making it worse, first the video and then Penguin Teen Australia tweeting updates. I am so jealous. You can’t READ the book BEFORE ME!!! Well they have but It’s not fair.

What do I have to do to get ARC? Tell me and I WILL DO IT. I mean it but please give me the book NOW.  I CAN’T WAIT.  ADRIAN!!

So, Have you seen the video? Major spoilers! So if you haven’t read The Golden Lily yet (What?!) Don’t watch it. I absolutely loved this scene in the book and even though the guy can’t act. This is not as bad as I was expecting. :p

Also, See PTA’s Indigo Spell reaction tweets in one place, here
And now wait for the book, it’s coming out in February, 2013.

Just one day by Gayle Forman

When sheltered American good girl Allyson “LuLu” Healey first meets laid-back Dutch actor Willem De Ruiter at an underground performance ofTwelfth Night in England, there’s an undeniable spark. After just one day together, that spark bursts into a flame, or so it seems to Allyson, until the following morning, when she wakes up after a whirlwind day in Paris to discover that Willem has left. Over the next year, Allyson embarks on a journey to come to terms with the narrow confines of her life, and through Shakespeare, travel, and a quest for her almost-true-love, to break free of those confines.

Expected publication: January 8th 2013 by Dutton Juvenile

Hey Guys!
So my exams are finally over and I am back in business. I have got a lot of books to share with you this week and I am so excited about all of them.

I bought The Casual Vacancy because, hello, J.K. Rowling wrote it. Also there was a 40% discount and that’s hard to resist.
DiSemblance was sent to me by the author. I will be a having a giveaway for this book soon. So keep checking back.

The lost Girl, Rapture and I’ve Got Your Number were sent to me by Random House India. Thank you so much guys, you rock!

I bought Shadow and Bone because I heard about the movie deal and I had to read the book before that happens. I can’t believe I haven’t read it yet.

I also got some great books from netgalley. They all look so good.
I am a part of Crewel‘s street team so I am really looking forward to reading the book. Hope it’s good!
I haven’t read Ashfall yet but I guess I will read it after Ashen Winter now. Is that, fine or should I read Ashfall before? I am confused.
Broken sounds pretty good, so I hope I like it.

That’s all from me. Leave me your book haul’s link in the comments. I would love to see it. 🙂

                                                   AuthorKiersten White

Fia was born with flawless instincts. Her first impulse, her gut feeling, is always exactly right. Her sister, Annie, is blind to the world around her—except when her mind is gripped by strange visions of the future.
Trapped in a school that uses girls with extraordinary powers as tools for corporate espionage, Annie and Fia are forced to choose over and over between using their abilities in twisted, unthinkable ways… or risking each other’s lives by refusing to obey.
In a stunning departure from her New York Times bestselling Paranormalcy trilogy, Kiersten White delivers a slick, edgy, heartstoppingly intense psychological thriller about two sisters determined to protect each other—no matter the cost.

Q: What would you do over if you were to start your blog again from scratch?

A: I don’t know if I would have done anything differently. I am not saying that I did everything right but I just started my blog 3 months back. I think it will take me some time to really understand where I went wrong. 😛
When I started I knew nothing about html and  designing. I knew nothing about anything but I learned something everyday and I hope to keep on learning!

Our Feature –Read It, Read It, Loved It

Q: Do your reading habits change based on your mood? Do you read a certain genre if you are feeling depressed or happy?

A book can change my mood so if I am upset about something I pick up a sweet story that I have read before (I don’t take risks) and re-read it. I generally pick up romance or a light summer read like Along for the ride by Sarah Dessen or Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles or Anna and the french kiss by Stephanie Perkins.

Well, if you have a preference, state it in your #FF post. A lot of blogs are transitioning to WordPress in which they do not have the luxury of GFC, so an RSS subscription is appreciated or if you choose an email subscription. If you don’t have GFC please state in your post how you would like to be followed.

Q: What drove you to start book blogging in the first place?

I love reading and after reading a book I can’t help but talk about it. One of my friends told me about Goodreads, and I joined the site. I met some amazing people, read some great books and wrote some reviews.
There I saw that almost everyone has a blog and they get to chat with authors and get ARC’s. Also, there were some great giveaways and a chance to get free book is so exciting.
So, I started blogging and I am having so much fun.
